詠春拳のメッカ、広東省に流れる珠江（旧名・粵江）は中国の有名な、広東省から香港・マカオと、東シナ海を繋ぐ大河です。日常生活でも重要な役を果たすこの川は詠春拳の馬法、拳法と棍法にもその影響を及ぼしています。
The Pearl River is renowned as one of China's largest rivers connecting Wing Chun's Mecca, Guangdong Province with Hong Kong, Macau, and the East China Sea. The river not only plays an important role in daily life, but has also influenced Wing Chun's stance, unarmed and staff methods.
